Kodecamp Cohort 6 — Machine Learning Core Track — Hands-on ML foundations, model building, and deployment practice. All three running simultaneously while still teaching in a secondary school classroom every week.

From Jupyter notebooks to 12 live Streamlit apps across 7 industries: insurance claim prediction, bank churn, HR promotion, financial inclusion, fake news detection (NLP — first XGBoost project), delivery delay forecasting, employee burnout prediction, and four EdTech tools. All documented honestly — including the data leakage fix in SwiftChain and models that did not hit expected benchmarks. This is the portfolio of someone who was solving classroom problems in their head for 15 years and finally had the technical tools to build the solutions.

The spark that lit everything on fire. 3MTT did not teach me from scratch — it gave a 15-year problem-solver a technical language. My inquisitiveness, the ability to break down complexity to its smallest parts, the persistence in the face of confusion — these were skills built over fifteen years of teaching. 3MTT gave them the right technical instruments. Within months, classroom problems I had been watching for 15 years had pathways to deployed solutions.

The moment the method was proven. A complete CBT exam platform — teacher portal, student exam engine, timed sessions, per-student randomisation, anti-cheat, auto-marking, certificates, 4-tab analytics, optional AI explanations — all built on an Android tablet using Acode editor. Not because I was a web developer. Because I had a clear problem, clear thinking, and AI as a collaborator. Real students sat a real Further Mathematics exam on it for the first time. That moment redefined what "AI-Augmented" means in practice.

First classroom: Chrisville Schools, 2009. A JSS class. Chalk, a blackboard, and more questions from students than I had been trained to answer. Since then: His Marvellous Grace, Fredaks Group, Anchor Heights, Dave Model School, Lifeline, De Glorious College, Chrisville, Angel High School, God of Seed Academy, and others. I have taught at every level — Nursery, Primary, and Secondary (currently in secondary school, JSS1–SSS3). Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science. Thousands of students.

These classrooms trained me in the two most important skills any data scientist can have: asking the right questions, and genuinely caring whether your audience understands what you are showing them. Fifteen years later, I am still teaching. The classroom and the data science are not two separate lives. They have always been the same work, waiting for the right tools.
