Most portfolios only show the destination. This one shows the road β 15+ years teaching, a degree earned as an adult, a 3MTT spark in 2025, 34 live projects, three builder identities, and a conviction that has never wavered. Every milestone is real. The failures too.
The work across 15 years of teaching, 34 deployed projects, a gospel conviction, and deliberate AI leverage crystallised into one unified identity with three expressions. Not three separate careers β one AI-Augmented Solutions Developer, three domains.
DeepTech_Ready (DSN Γ 3MTT Γ Google.org) β DSML Track, Cohort 3. Applied ML and Google AI ecosystem in Nigerian context.
WorldQuant University Applied Data Science Lab β One of the world's most rigorous free data science programmes. Real datasets, international submission standards.
Kodecamp Cohort 6 β ML Core Track β Hands-on model building and deployment. All three running simultaneously while still teaching weekly in secondary school.
Selected to champion digital literacy, AI fluency, and tech access across Nigerian communities. Recognition that building and teaching in public β with honesty about the journey β matters beyond the classroom.
Azure AI fundamentals β machine learning, computer vision, NLP, and conversational AI. Structured around applied understanding, not just exam passing. Targeting AI-900 certification.
From Jupyter notebooks to live Streamlit apps, Vercel-hosted platforms, and full LMS systems across 7 industries. 7 ML models, 11 data tool simulators, 5 academic tools, 11 LMS platforms β all documented honestly, including the data leakage fix in SwiftChain and models that underperformed.
The spark that lit everything. 3MTT did not teach me from scratch β it gave a 15-year problem-solver a technical language. My inquisitiveness, the ability to break down complexity, the persistence in the face of confusion β these were skills built over fifteen years of teaching. 3MTT gave them the right technical instruments. Capstone 2: TruthLens Fake News Detector (AUC 0.9393).
The moment the method was proven. Teacher portal, student exam engine, timed sessions, randomisation, anti-cheat, auto-marking, certificates, 4-tab analytics, optional AI explanations β all built on an Android tablet using Acode editor with zero budget. Real students. Real Further Mathematics exam. That moment redefined what "AI-Augmented" means in practice.
One of the world's most respected free data science programmes. Project-based, real datasets, international submission standards. Applied modules in regression, classification, time series, and NLP alongside a global cohort.
A degree earned as an adult because I believed technology could solve the classroom problems I was watching every day. It formalised the intersection of pedagogy and technology. The graduation was not the finish line β the practical capability arrived later with 3MTT and hands-on building. But the thinking had been shaped well before either.
From tutoring individual students to building a structured brand with four subsidiaries: HMG Academy (@hmgacademyhub β virtual school), HMG Technologies (@hmgtechnologies β AI-augmented tools for businesses), HMG Gospel (@hmgospel β spreading the gospel through every digital means), and HMG Media (audio/visual brand promotion). The first time I truly understood what it means to build something bigger than yourself β and to name it honestly after the conviction that drives it.
The name His Marvellous Grace was never just branding. It reflects a genuine, lived conviction: every breakthrough has arrived as a result of grace I did not engineer on my own. HMG Gospel exists to spread the gospel of Christ through every digital platform available β dramavangelism, techvangelism, physical evangelism, podcasts, ebooks, digital outreach, Christian drama, and FaithTech tools built for church and ministry settings. This is the FaithTech Builder identity made institutional.
Piano and guitar are still part of who I am. Pattern recognition, structure, rhythm, and the discipline of practising something imperfect until it is right β these are data science skills too, once you know how to look at them that way. The best models I have built have a rhythm to them. So do the best lessons I have taught.
First classroom: Chrisville Schools, 2009. A JSS class. Chalk, a blackboard, and more questions than answers. Since then: His Marvellous Grace, Fredaks Group, Anchor Heights, Dave Model School, Lifeline, De Glorious College, EnnyCharles, Chrisville, Roas Model, Angel High School, God of Seed Academy, and others.
These classrooms trained me in the two most important skills any data scientist can have: asking the right questions, and genuinely caring whether your audience understands what you are showing them. Fifteen years later, I am still teaching. The classroom and the data science are not two separate lives. They have always been the same work, waiting for the right tools.
Self-assessed based on deployed projects and active learning. No inflated bars. No false modesty.
Neural networks, CNNs, and sequence modelling. The next frontier after classical ML mastery.
Formalising cloud AI knowledge through the Microsoft AI fundamentals exam via DSN Γ Microsoft Elevate.
AI Insights for teachers (Phase 6) and Multi-teacher admin panel (Phase 7). The next CBT milestones.
First gospel-driven digital tool under @hmgospel β dramavangelism platform or church resource hub.
The institutional home for AI-augmented tools for Nigerian businesses and organisations.
